Dormant Fire Exemplifies Sustainability With New Community Relations Campaign

On Wednesday, April 11th from 7:30-9:00 pm, Slippery Rock College hosted 'Grand Bon Rien' Cajun Band from Swope Music Hall . They performed American Music from Southwest Louisiana's French speaking bayou country, with lyrics sung in French. In the video above, Chuck Etterhson, accordion player and leader of the band, explains how they all got started playing such unique music. Once Chuck is finished, the video details their concert song by song, with intermissions filled with educational teachings about the genre and culture of 'Cajun Louisiana'.
